Time is Life Life is Time

You never know when your time is up...do you?

Mortality is one of those concepts that we all struggle with at one level or another.

We all know we will die one day. Nobody believes that day is today.

For those on Continental flight 3407, whose lives, hopes, dreams and aspirations were cut short two days ago in Clarence, NY, my guess is that they never thought that their lives would end this week.

No warning. No time to say the things that they always wanted to say to their loved one, but never did.

No time to call their mom, dad, sister, brother, or friend more often than they meant to.

Time is life, and life is time. Wasted time is a wasted life...or so the saying goes.

It's interesting how much an event like Thursday evening's crash makes me think about working toward the things that make me truly happy.

It makes me think about NOT wasting time...and NOT wasting my life.

You too?
